The collaborative initiative, supported by the AWS Generative AI Innovation Center, aims to integrate this advanced scenario generation feature into the dSPACE portfolio. This integration will be particularly beneficial for software-in-the-loop (SIL) and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing, as well as data-driven development processes. By leveraging the power of generative AI, the new solution will provide automotive manufacturers and suppliers with the tools necessary to create a vast array of complex and realistic scenarios. The core technology underpinning this new feature includes a large language model (LLM) available on Amazon Bedrock, alongside a retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) architecture. The LLM and RAG architecture are designed to interpret textual descriptions entered by users and generate detailed, realistic scenarios, including edge cases. This approach aligns with the ASAM OpenScenario standard, ensuring that the generated scenarios are both relevant and standardized.
