Rivian is taking a bold step forward in vehicle autonomy with the introduction of Enhanced Highway Assist on its Gen 2 R1 vehicles. This hands-off driving system marks the company’s first significant leap into advanced autonomy under the Rivian Autonomy Platform. Initially covering 135,000 miles of highways across the U.S. and Canada, the system is set to expand to off-highway roads within the next year, demonstrating Rivian’s commitment to continuous innovation in driver assistance technology.
